Now is the time

January

Loi Man

January is an ideal time to get your garden designed. This is a quiet time in terms of planting and landscaping so we will be able to devote all our time for design and planting plans. It is a good time for getting your garden landscaped too. As landscapers tend to be less busy - prices tend to be lower in winter. All the mess and dust will be out of the way and your garden will be ready to be planted in spring and ready to enjoy for the summer.

  • Clear the lawn from fallen leaves and debris
  • Mulch borders with well rotted organic matter
  • Treat timber and decking with wood preservative
  • Spur prune Wisteria to encourage flowers
  • Sprinkle sand and grit on icy paths and patios
  • Protect non hardy shrubs and climbers with hessian
