In July 2006, we entered a competition to design an Australian wetland garden sponsored by Banrock Station in conjunction with Anglo Aquarium Plants. Our design uses imagery from aboriginal art to recreate a trail through the Australian wetlands. The walkway through the garden is inspired by traditional ground paintings, where concentric circles symbolized a resting place with adjoining straight lines to signify travel. The garden won a Silver Gilt Medal and we were delighted to also receive the BBC RHS People's Award for the best show garden.
